How your recording proceeds
01 · Inquiry
You describe your matter by phone or email. We clarify jurisdiction, languages and required documents.
02 · Draft
You usually receive the draft 14 days before the appointment for review. Questions are discussed in advance.
03 · Appointment
We read the deed aloud, clarify open questions and record. For foreign parties an interpreter accompanies the appointment.
04 · Completion
We arrange registrations (land registry, commercial register), send copies and close the matter.
About the costs
Notary fees are set by statute under the Court and Notary Costs Act (GNotKG) and are not negotiable. The Federal Chamber of Notaries offers an online cost calculator.
